Membership - Daytime Program

Family Flex’s preschool program is available for children ages two and a half years through five years.

Each of the two preschool classrooms are staffed by two teachers and may accommodate up to 16 children, which results in a 1:8 adult-to-child ratio. In addition to engendering learning from slightly older role models, the multi-age classrooms allow for looping, which means a child progresses through the important preschool period of development with the same teachers.

The daily schedule is structured to help children ease into the day, explore interests on an individual basis, participate in group discussions and activities, and prepare to return home. Meals, snacks and naptime are integrated with the day’s activities, as well as preparation and clean-up times.

Learning activities are primarily self-selected and may include reading, writing, drawing or working with table toys. Circle time allows the entire class to discuss individual projects as well as group topics such as music, movement or a story. The schedule features an abundance of playtime, both outdoors (weather permitting) and indoors.

Serving as the foundation for Family Flex’s educational efforts is the nationally renowned Creative Curriculum (more information). The staff uses the Touchpoints communication philosophy, developed by Dr. T. Berry Brazelton, to help build strong relationships with parents.

Family Flex is also enrolled with the Denver Preschool Program (DPP). This program was approved by voters to provide parents with a tuition credit (regardless of their income), and to give quality improvement grants to enrolled preschools. This program is avalaible to all Denver children the year before they enter kindergarten.

Full-time care (Monday through Friday) and part-time care (one to three days a week) is avaliable, as well as visitor care, space permitting.

Tuition Prices for children aged 3 years to 5 years:

Full Time 5 days a week (7AM-7PM):

$1,250 per month

$250 One Time Enrollment Fee

Part Time 3 days a week (7AM-7PM):

$240 per week

$150 one time enrollment fee

Part Time 1-2 Days a week (min. of 6 hours per day):

$10.35 per hour

Ad-Hoc Visitor (No Set Schedule):

$10.35 per hour
