Membership - Daytime Program

Family Flex’s toddler program is available for children ages 12 months to two and a half years.

Each of the two toddler classrooms are staffed by two teachers. One classroom is designed for younger toddlers (ages 12 months through 24 months) and may accommodate up to 10 children, which results in a 1:5 adult-to-child ratio. The other may accommodate up to 14 older toddlers (ages 24 months through two and a half years), which results in a 1:7 ratio.

The daily schedule is structured to help children ease into the day, participate in group activities, explore their surroundings on an individual basis and prepare to return home. Meals, snacks and naptime/rest time are integrated with the day’s activities, as well as diaper changes/toilet usage and hand washing.

Learning activities include teacher-directed small group activities such as singing, listening to stories and discussing a topic of the day. In addition, the children work on art projects and participate in musical activities. The schedule features an abundance of playtime, both outdoors (weather permitting) and indoors.

Serving as the foundation for Family Flex’s educational efforts is the nationally renowned Creative Curriculum (more information). The staff uses the Touchpoints communication philosophy, developed by Dr. T. Berry Brazelton, to help build strong relationships with parents.

Full-time care (Monday through Friday) and part-time care (one to three days a week) is avaliable, as well as visitor care, space permitting.

Tuition Prices for children aged 12 months- 23 months:

Full Time 5 days a week (7AM-7PM):

$1,555 per month

$250 One Time Enrollment Fee

Part Time 3 days a week (7AM-7PM):

$310 per week

$150 one time enrollment fee

Part Time 1-2 Days a week (min. of 6 hours per day):

$12.40 per hour

Ad-Hoc Visitor (No Set Schedule):

$12.40 per hour
